What does it feel like to run 5,000 kilometres? For Brooke McIntosh—it feels like purpose, grit, and a whole lot of community. 💙
Week 11 brought it all.
She kicked things off in Gerringong, where the local run club (and a few little legends 👧👦) brought the energy for a wholesome start to the week. Then she dropped into Kiama High School to chat mindset, resilience, and why it’s not weak to speak. The kids were all ears—and the message hit home 🎯
Brooke also shared this reel, encouraging anyone feeling overwhelmed to take a breath and reconnect with their why: 🎥 Watch here – Pause if you need to
As always, she wasn’t just chasing kilometres—she was chasing coastline magic ✨ The New South Wales views this week were something else. From the Kiama Way walk trail to the winding bends of Lawrence Hargrave Drive, every scenic detour was worth it. 🌊
That epic momentum carried into Coogee, where a local crew showed up strong 💪 and ran beside her to the finish line. What followed? A heart-filled meet & greet packed with hugs, stories, and new waves of inspiration 🫶
Brooke also shared a powerful update about recognition, purpose, and staying true to the mission. 📲 Read the full post
She caught up with Michelle from the South Sydney Herald, then headed back to Kiama Way to reconnect with Alexander Glover—who just finished his 450+ day walk for strides against suicide 🖤
And then… BOOM. 5,000 kilometres. Brooke’s biggest milestone yet. A “holy sh*t, we did it” kind of moment 😭🔥 That’s nearly 3x more than she’s ever run—and every step was powered by purpose.
Her crew surprised her with a family dinner on Saturday night—a little pause to soak it all in and celebrate how far she’s come ❤️🔥
It hasn’t been easy. The hills? Brutal. The roads? Narrow. The time? Flying. But Brooke kept showing up—with grit in her stride and a mission in her heart.
Because this isn’t just about the run—it’s about showing people what’s possible when you choose Just One More.
