Longreach and Big Reflections
They rolled into Longreach and ticked off some bucket list bits ✅ QANTAS Museum ✅ Catch up with Lisa and Steve from the Ringers Western truck ✅ Spotted a Blue Tree ✅ Wrapped it all up with a cracking sunset
Brooke also opened up in a post about two raw convos she had while running. The kind that remind us how important it is to stay curious and kind. You never know what someone’s battling inside.

80kms, No Signal and Taco Tuesday
The crew fired up with some karaoke to start the day (bless the ears of everyone nearby) Grace joined the team The second car was finally on its way And they hit 80km, big tick
🚫 No phone reception for five hours thanks to Telstra ghosting them between Longreach and Winton. But the UHF radio kept things interesting with truckie chats and plenty of laughs
Suzie jumped in for some kms, Grace ran the last few hundred metres and they sealed it with Taco Tuesday. Priorities
Halfway through the year, halfway through the run. Let’s go. 88 days left
Oranges, Conversations and 80 More Kms
Day 113. Brooke knocked out another 80km with 9 hours 40 minutes on the clock
The highlight? Picking up oranges from strangers. The kind of generosity that hits you mid run and fuels more than just the body
Suzie clocked more kms. The crew kept talking about how even a simple conversation can shift someone’s whole day

Tan Lines and New Friends
Brooke found a running buddy named Andrew and later reunited with Skye who’s been following the journey since day one

No Pants and Country Roads
The now iconic No Pants Friday returned. Brooke strutted around in a blue bodysuit, no trousers and full blown tan lines like a bushland Beyoncé
Then she posted herself running and belting “Country Roads Take Me Home” and while the pitch might’ve been questionable the vibe was 10 out of 10

They ran into the night to dodge the Queensland sun Neighbour Steve joined in for some kms They signed their names at the legendary Blue Heeler Hotel Slapped a Just One More sticker on the ceiling Then Brooke lost a game of scissors paper rock to Suzie…
