ALRIGHTY FAAAAMMM We turned left and headed “home”, sort of. Brooke charged through Outback Queensland, one hot kilometre at a time, snack box in hand and support crew in chaos 😂
Here’s how the week went down 💙
Snack Box MVP 🍫 The snack box was the real hero that week, restocked multiple times a day and always empty by nightfall. Brooke’s grazing game was strong. When you’re out here running all day, having options matters, especially when Suz forgot the bananas 😅.
The crew had a hilarious end to the day! Suz was having a GREATTT day 🫠, which basically meant she lost the plot and gave Brooke a few mini heart attacks along the way. Case in point, Suz stopped on the road without using her indicators. Classic Suz move! 😂
JUST ONE MORE, Even When They Said You Can’t Brooke dropped a reel that hit hard. Just 2.9 years ago, she had started running. A coach told her she couldn’t do it. Well, Brooke is currently running around Australia… So here’s the reminder: Don’t let anyone tell you you can’t. They don’t know what you’re capable of. Prove them wrong. Prove YOU right. JUST, ONE, MORE. 💙 Watch the reel here: https://www.instagram.com/p/DLhjyl5R7YX/
Support Vehicle Needed, Ute Urgently 🚨 Here was the sitch, The caravan is being towed like a dream thanks to the legends at GWA, but the team needed a second vehicle, something simple and reliable that could zip between stops without dragging a 24 foot van every time Brooke needed a snack or a gear drop.
With a few options, it was Eugene who brought to life the second support vehicle — Eugene, a long-time friend of Brooke’s who supported her during her 1,600 km run, said yes, and left from Karratha last Friday to drive the car to Brooke and the crew.
This is something the team still can’t fathom — having someone want to support the mission so much that they started driving from Karratha to keep fuelling Brooke and the mission!
We’ll keep you updated next week on the adventures of our second support car.
Outback Queensland Vibes From Emerald to Alpha to Barcaldine, the crew were officially in Outback QLD. The serenity, the wide open roads, and finally, shoulders that weren’t death traps 🙌
Mornings were freezing, afternoons were blistering. Brooke’s stops got shorter to stay safe in that 25°C plus bitumen blaze. If you’ve driven Alpha to Longreach, you know. 🫠
Safety first, always — listen to your body and adapt to what the conditions throw at you.
No Pants Friday? Say Less. Brooke rocked a pink bodysuit with zero pants and extreme tan lines. That was No Pants Friday, officially a thing now. She floated around Barcaldine in the hi-vis hat like the queen she is 💅
Barcaldine Love and Blue Tree Magic The week wrapped up at the Blue Tree in Barcaldine, a wholesome town filled with soul and spirit. This was what it was all about — community, connection, and carrying the message forward 💙 Never underestimate the power of community, it’s what keeps us going when the road gets tough.

That week was chaos, heart, sweat, and snacks — just how we like it. Brooke’s journey reminds us all, keep pushing, keep believing, and never forget that every step, no matter how tough, is progress.
See you next week for more no pants madness and one hell of a run. JUST ONE MORE.
